The Foundation strives to lower the cost of healthcare by encouraging innovative, patient-centered solutions, which deliver the right care at the right place at the right time and by supporting medical and scientific research and development, policy studies, education and advocacy.

Service Canines

Service Canines

The Foundation partners with best-in-class nonprofit organizations that provide high-quality training and deployment of service canines to seniors, veterans, individuals with limited mobility and police K-9 units. In addition, the Foundation supports the construction of emergency shelter and triage buildings for rescued dogs.

The Gary and Mary West Foundation seeks to lower the cost of healthcare in our country, significantly improve the quality of life for low-income seniors and deploy professionally trained service dogs in our community through purposeful philanthropic investment.
